My faith in my country is restored. Now I can put my French passport back in the drawer and resume my life. Finally, we chose a leader who can not only complete sentences, but also earn the respect of the rest of the world. -----Original Message----- From: Irene McC [mailto:substar@telkomsa.net] Sent: Wednesday, November 05, 2008 12:28 AM To: idm@hyperreal.org Subject: [idm] YES WE CAN Well done America! Stupid sheeple.. You think electing a "great leader" will solve the problems in your society? The "problem" is within your minds, the problem is you believing in your own limitations. No "Messiah" is going to solve this to you. Humanity's challenge in this time is to wake up to their own potential, by breaking free from the control grid of the society. Not investing their energy in yet another puppet candidate that will drive the globalist corporate, military, pro-religious, anti-spiritual agenda even further. Obama is as controlled by dark forces as any other candidate, his wife is a member of the fucking CFR and he's even got Zbigniew Brzezinski, Satan himself as an advisor. Time to wake up to the reality we're living in. Some of you know what I'm speaking of here.. Obama is going to start new wars. He give you what you need, some hope in the form of empty slogans and then he's gonna let you down, once again. Just as what happened every other election. The rules of the games haven't changed. To you who voted, doesn't matter what of the puppets you voted for, you get what you deserve. It's time we take control over your own minds.

And this is exactly what Barack has taught us! As a volunteer for the campaign none of us expect him to fix all our problems. But he has taught apathetic America that we can have a say. We can truly achieve anything we want no matter what our social background. I wont comment on your other statements because they are just absurd. It's been said before, but I think the simple fact that he was elected is indicative of a change in people's mentalities. Whether or not he brings true change, I think it's clear what people are hoping for and expecting from the role of the US President. That's not even considering the racial connotations it has... Like maybe racial tension would diminish considering the straight-up 'equality' his election represents. And with the way shit's been going there, I don't know if things can really afford to stay the same... On 4-Nov-08, at 9:42 PM, gmschroeder wrote: Oh yeah, everything will be different now. Those who didn't vote at least didn't manifest their inferiority-complex and give their power away to another human being. They can be proud that they didn't give their support to a system that is rotten from inside out.. We need Change, but change is not coming to come from solutions *within* the system, because the system is gonna fuck you in the ass repeatedly until you start liking it, begging for more. Only by making us love our prison, by having you begging for more, the system can continue to survive.. It's time to unplug the Matrix.

"Pride" is just another ingredient in the mess that is the ego-based world view. (I'm quite sure you agree with me here...?) Do you really think choosing to vote or not takes away one's power? Who's thoughts are you projecting here?

Once you've actually been outside "the Matrix" you know you can operate inside and outside of it, and then you also know you cannot just unplug it just like that. You can unplug yourself but that's hardly the same thing (except for yourself only, perhaps). Besides, calling people "stupid sheep" hardly motivates anybody to listen whether you actually had any ideas worth considering. This is not related to the voting business anymore, but in a more general sense of operating in this world. .N. In that case...... Experimedia (one of textura.org 's top 10 labels of 2008) invites artists to submit sound pieces to a free netlabel compilation celebrating the election of Barack Obama. All pieces considered for the compilation should be comprised of voices of Obama and crowds from any of his speeches. Will get more organized details later after I catch up on some work I put aside while volunteering. Palin's cadence, largely because she is not a classically-trained public speaker (Look ma! No iambs!), is much less conventional. Can someone use Palin's "complete sentences" as a structural element in "dance" music? I'm only partly kidding. Something akin to The Evolution Control Committee's "Rocked by Rape"? http://kr.youtube.com/watch?v=4DX4nsobHW8 Greg On Nov 5, 2008, at 11:03 PM, chthonic streams wrote:

There is a difference between replying on an email list, and having someone's quotes in them... and taking someone's quote and sending it out (altered or even otherwise) through other mediums/lists etc. Would you care to share the legalese of your assertion, replete with referencing of federal/state/country laws? Or is this only illegal in the world of you? ;) Nevyn Nowhere http://www.happyhumans.org Sad Music for Happy Humans On Wed, Nov 5, 2008 at 4:57 PM, Ian Pratt <springchicken@operamail.com>wrote:

Can't imagine you're breaking copyright law just by quoting a reply someone made to an open e-mail list.. What about the first amendment? Who cares about copyright, except multi-national parasitic companies that have something to gain on it, anyway? Information wants to be free.
