Primal Scream _If They Move, Kill 'Em_ 1 my bloody valentine arkestra the orchestral reference is relevant in the intro as various wind instruments build a subdued chase soundtrack feel into wawa-world vibe. the wave continues as the beats kick in (dare i compare the beat grit to gescom). the other instruments return as swelling intrusions harkening back to foetus. 2 darklands this one reminds me of the mellower and more touching moments of screamadelica. echoing mood-drenched vocals manage a male liz frazier quality until they become more audible. then the retro primal vibe is scrawled all about. 3 twelve inch disco mix a more, um, accessible version of track one. the horns are put on top of all but the beat. cannot fail to remind me of the sabres of paradise. even has this haunted moog bit which makes me want to pop in on '93 and shake it to 'theme.' 4 badlands that backwards satanic guitar thing these scream team guys love to do. can't say i blame them. sounds relaxed. makes a good outro. enjoyed six of my nine bucks blad
