Regarding Festivals:: I have to agree that the Decibel festival in Seattle was a good thing and someday it would be a treat to check out the |Mute Feastival in Montreal I think it is... We were hoping to enjoy such an event a while back over in England at some kind of Sands place...but someone said the promooterr got cold feet even after selling a ton of tickets and all we ended up seeing was TG -which was good but--- still only a Sunday afternoon concert instead of a whole festival 8 hours ahead in time and no small trick to get to. Regarding favorite tunes :: these days- I have to say I like the new Brothomstates album, the new Thomas Fehlman, most works by Monolake, Smash by Jackson and his computer band Set design by Signaldrift folie eyepennies by mitek22/or is it stefan Thor Also thanks Alan and Wallace for here turning me onto Maurizio, Basic Channel and Hoger Hiller- Demixed which has some good parts. I was able to play these last weekend at our show and refer to www.Discogs.com duringit!::: The Tunnel on Friday nite PST at 10pm-1am. at www.kser.org. We don't quite have the archive down yet for MP3 and such like some of the richer stations since we are -all volunteer but it is really rewarding doing the study and being prt of the evolving electronic music event-quite a jump from the Bukla Synthesizers. computersounds.
