Etherea were the best place I found for electronica/IDM in NYC when I was last there (year and a half ago), although O(ther)M(usic) and Kim's are both great. Etherea *had* some Kettel (who runs Sending Orbs) when I was there, but neither Funckarma nor Kettel appear on their searches right now. Nice boutique store though, they might order 'em in! http://www.ethereaonline.com/ On the other hand, ordering direct from Sending Orbs http://www.sendingorbs.com/ was more than worth it for me in Sydney. I got both the Funckarma and Kettel for somewhat less than the cost of two new CDs locally, including the postage... I found Funckarma's release (and other Sending Orbs stuff) listed at some store I never heard of in Hong Kong called Saiko Sounds: http://www.saikosounds.com/english/display_release.asp?id=5408 I ordered it from there because, with shipping, it was a couple bucks cheaper than ordering directly from Sending Orbs. -Adam On Jan 10, 2006, at 7:30 PM, Peter Hollo wrote:

Thanks for pointing that out Ryan. Should have mentioned that - with a runtime of nearly four days, all the music is in mp3 format and the disc's not formatted as a normal DVD MP3 disk, therefore all files have to be dragged onto your hard drive and played from there. Last time I looked, you could also d/l all the content from their website. BTW there is something to watch on there - a short film of FM breaking down a dividing wall into another room.
