Yo, The new Modeselektor album 'Hello Mom!' doesn't seem to have been discussed on the list as far as I can recall. Please be assured, one and all, that it is one of the most resolutely and unflinchingly dope records to come out in a long time, *definitely* one of the records of the year. It was released in Europe this week on Bpitch Control. Anyone else heard it and care to comment? Easy, Dave. PS They're aso touring the UK just now, and put on a frickin spectacular live show. Our date is the 30th September (Friday) at the Glasgow Art School PPS Yes, I am carrying their children too. Got a copy from them in July. It's mostly hilarious. There are "european" versions of grime and fresh and fun hip hop. My fave track is "Vote or die", which is more serious and reminds me of some Richard D. James' melodic moments.
