Well I followed the BOC link and was probably one of the lucky few to
download before the file self-deleted (was limited to 25 downloads)
Despite the debate on the Sigur Ros board questioning the authenticity
of the files (too many fake 'old tunes' out there!) I think the tracks
are for real. The wire and bleep demo tracks are all there.
Anyway enough waffle, what I want to say is that I've been listening to
the download constantly for a couple of days now and it is VERY VERY
GOOD! Combines the fantastically understated tune-smithery of
'Music...' builds on the sophistication of 'Geo..' and may well be
better than both.
I cannot wait for the actual CD to come out. Please buy it, don't steel
it, BOC are local guys to me (globally speaking) and they need our
support to make good music. I have a feeling Campfire will be my album
of '05.
