Much has been said about the work of this individual. His praises have been
sung on many a messageboard throughout the electronic community. On this EP,
we get to see front and center what makes Fieldtriqp tick. Oily, serpentine
pads and stop/start drum work prevail; carving a winding path over the
course of 20 minutes. As the recording unfolds, meandering melodies and
breathy percussion delicately paint a watercolour landscape before the
listener's eyes. The tones shift, and we find ourselves enveloped in a dark
and foreboding place; alone, and with no guide.
