Hi All, I was wondering if anybody has any links to tutorials that outline the creation of cut-up drumlines and beat sequences. I tried some google searches but couldn't really come up with anything and thought that some of you listees might have some relevant pointers. And since I don't feel like writing a second email, does anybody know the url for end's website? Are you talking technical tutorials on how to use certain tools like Recycle or Fruitys BeatSlicer, or a more general approach? Otherwise, look for Recycle tutorials oslt online, you're bound to find some stuff, and www.spinwarp.com (drum'n'bass oriented) will have some info on the BeatSlicer I guess. This reminds me - is the "IDM Making" Yahoo list still in existence (i.e. accepting new members) or not? It seems to have been in the process of "moving house" forever! Does anyone have any info about this? Anyhow, Burton - that list would have been my general recommendation, but it looks like it's been foiled! Bah!!! Sorry!
