Well, if you can make it just a little earlier, there's the Montreal
High Lights Festival that runs to the end of February.

If that isn't an option, you can check out all of the shows going on on:
www.montrealshows.com (they rarely miss an event)
Keep checking it until your actual departure. March is still pretty far
away, and shows are being added daily (plus, winter is a bit slower than
other seasons up here).
As for stores, you can come to mine (Atom Heart Recs. 364-B Sherbrooke
st East), CD Esoterik (on Ste-Catherine st. West, not sure of the exact
address) & Cheap Thrills (on Metcalfe between Sherbrooke and President
Kennedey). As far as IDM goes, that's pretty much it aside from the
larger super stores (HMV & Archambault). If you're looking for mostly
vinyl, you can also check out DNA on Pine ave near St-Laurent. The other
vinyl stores mostly focus on House, Electro and clubby Techno (or RnB
and Hip Hop).
