This is no lazy man's techno. We are talking about some sophisticated
programming and planning for this recording. Some of this stuff is astounding in its
layering and complicated structure. Much techno is all about the beats. Not so
much here. Sure, the beats are the driving force, but the real atmosphere
comes from keys and electronic wash that really put you into the place before
compelling you to bounce up and down. It's a big full sound, totally into the
moment, full of momentum and change, free of the dirge of repetitions and brain
numbing persistence.
