Not that anyone really cares, but we licensed the Hrvatski remix of Soft Drink Jihad to Planet Mu for that compilation you have. Good stuff, no? It's a huge honor to Fluoroscopic Kid and myself, as we're both huge fans of mu-ziq and his label. That being said, the record label wasn't really going to work out. So it's done. The domain expired yesterday. I will move the website over to http://www.valuecube.com some time soon, hopefully this weekend and unbreak the links as necessary in case anyone's curious - and I will make sure to keep the mp3 remixes of Soft Drink Jihad available, as some of them were quite awesome. I'll always treasure the Steve Satori and Hollowman (what happened to that guy?) mixes. You wonder whatever happened to Gonz? I don't know either, but I know some of the bullshit he had to go through to put out records. Or in my case, not put out records. Those of you who supported us, thanks. Those of you who worked with us, thanks. Those of you who returned emails to me after gushing about your works and then not releasing them, thanks (and sorry). Fluoroscopic Kid has decided to either self-release in the future or possibly work with other labels. He can be contacted at jti@io.com. Bonus points if it's in Esperanto. I will still DJ occasionally as DJ Homeschool (yes, it's true - I'm he and he is me) and might book a few shows in the DFW area, though it appears the venue I have a good working relationship with will be working down. There's always other options, though. I'll be opening for Cylob in Austin on the 19th of January, 2005. Only 30 minutes, though, so be prompt and watch the horrible trainwreck. Cringe DJing, but not on XM Radio. Household Names can fuck off, and One Piece too. Geez, you put tubgirl on a guy's diary and he just gets all pissed off for nothing. -- The best show killed by Cartoon Network/Adult Swim: Home Movies. Season 1, Out on DVD - November 16th. http://homemovies.toonzone.net/DVD.html (Entertainment Weekly endorsed it after it was canceled - what does that tell you?) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
