Please help me. I'm originally from LA but moved to (of all fucking places) Knoxville, TN eight years ago. After seeing this list of events in LA, I need to come back but I need a job. I'm just amazed at what's happening in LA. All these cool shows. I can see and hear Jonah Sharp(for 5 BUCKS!), Juan Atkins, Amon Tobin, and DJ Food! PLUS even MORE! 8 years ago, we were lucking if anyone toured. It was still early in this genre's life, wasn't it? I live 250 miles from Atlanta and I don't hear of anything like all these shows. I did however get to see Plaid earlier this year. I really just need to move back. Anyone out there in LA work for a large hospital and need a application support analyst. Ziolkowski Court: State of Michigan Wayne County Circuit Court Today eight jurors awarded recording artist/Detroit Electronic Music Festival founder Carl Craig victory in a contract dispute against Pop Culture Media and Carol Marvin. The law suit was filed in May 2001. With the trial starting July 7, 2003 and ending July 10, 2003. Craig was awarded damages that equal the remainder of his contracted fee in 2001 and all unpaid expenses incurred directly from the 2000 DEMF. These expenses included artist hotel expenses, artist flights, and artist equipment rental fees. Craig entered into an agreement With Pop Culture Media as Creative Director in 2000. Since the law suit was filed in 2001 Carol Marvin changed attorneys four (4) different times in a suspected attempt to delay proceedings. "I'm happy this is over. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I heard the "kraftwerk" show is just Karl Bartos (a former member). At least that is what I read (on this list I believe). If that is in fact true, than I think he should tour as Elektric Music, so as not to mislead the fans. Kraftwerk is too big to play the House Of Blues. They sold out the Hollywood Palladium last time and that's a much bigger venue.
