I just watched a documentary on the Sci-Fi channel about the UFO encounter at Rendlesham in England; one of the soldiers recorded his sighting of a UFO. It was sampled and repeated by somebody, and I can't remember who. It's driving me crazy. The guy says something like "up ahead...and between the trees...there it is again...I see it too." Someone please help with my brainlock and tell me what CD that is from! It sounds kinda like Eat Static or Richard H. Kirk, but I haven't been able to find it. thx bk --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

I remember something like that on: air liquide - the increased difficulty of concentration I don't have the album any more, but it sounds familiar. -H --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

it also sounds similar to a scene from close encounters, which was sampled on a deathchant records compilation CD. d. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Photek is right, at least that's the only place I've heard the sample. Since this was a fairly popular record in the mid-90s it is both old enough to remember and old enough to forget!
-eric --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

i was just listening to form & function again for the first time in quite a few years... man that album has held up well over time. Rupert is such a mad genius. he's just released some new drum'n'bass under his special forces name on metalheadz http://www.discogs.com/release/207021 decent tracks too. my favorite special forces tune by far is sidewider... so damned huge: -josh Eric wrote:

The bit from Air Liquide is not from the Rendlesham incident: it's from a Bigfoot/UFO incident in the Los Padres National Forest, in California. "I seen a bigfoot" "you must of been hallucinating" "Norman, look at the funny light up on the mountain." "Leave me alone, leave me alone."
