Versus Electronics is a micro-festival that takes place on sunday after Sonar
festival, showing the best on contemporary electronics, with djs and live acts
representative of the most interesting labels.
Expanding our activities to the rest of the year, this is the first date on
our new monthly event: sunday evenings in a cozy new cafe in Gracia
neighborhood with muffins, cakes and electronica at its best.
Live act by well-known Miami based electronics-politics activist NEEDLE (also
known as Sony Mao) from the Beta Bodega Coalition. Needle has released on
labels such Beta Bodega Coalition, Ritornell, Boniato, Fals.ch or Hydrogen
Dukebox. Hipnotic soundscapes and top class sonic manipulation.
Completing the evening, REC OVERFLOW from Madrid, one of the most promising
values from electronica spanish scene. He's been releasing his stuff through
his own Plataforma LTW collective, net label and cdr label. Right now he's
working on an album for spa.RK due to be released next year.
