I know this has been brought up every so often, but does anyone know if While of chocolate ind. is still producing music? i believe while got dropped from chocolate industries as the result of the label moving into a more "jazzy hip-hop" territory. i know he has been making new music since (he even came to montreal a little over a year ago to perform some of it) but there are no new releases planned as far as i know. he's the reclusive type so he might not be actively looking for a label for his new music. i have to agree that while was doing some great stuff in 2000-01, & what more, it aged very well. i have _lock_ & _even_ which are both excellent. another album in that genre that aged surprisingly well is jake mandell's _parallel processes_... have a nice day ~ david --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
