They did a live performance at an event last saturday in Brussels. Funkstorung played on the 1st stage, the live set sounded a lot like their latest releases. Lots of cut-up raps and breakbeats. They where pretty good, but not 'great' ... I enjoyed myself a lot though, mostly because it was a unique venue (open air in a park in the centre of Brussels, cool visuals) and someone was playing super good melodic IDM and jungle on the 2nd stage :) Bart www.freestylegrooves.com

I saw them a couple years ago in Germany and they rocked it. I've been told that their current live act is very much in the same vein. Upbeat, cut up, digital funk. ^(|_|)^

Gord, I'm still a little worn out from the Mutek festivities but I've got a ticket for this show. Andreas Tilliander is also on the bill with Funkst?rung, so it should be a good event. Otherwise, you may want to catch Andreas with Aelters (from DAT Politics) Saturday night at Casa del Popolo, which should be great as well for half the price ($6).. peace, kh4n
