Blat is an amazing track and actually has an even more amazing sister track "Gills I'd Grow"... I've had them sitting on a cdr Tim sent me for ages and hopefully these tracks will see a commercial release one day soon on AI when Tim's ready. Onto the really exciting news "Please Don't Tell Me That's Your Volvo" is back from the CD pressing plant... sounding great and looking great too as it has great artwork and design by Souri (old Amiga heads might know his older work, for which he is rather famous). Anyhow it should be available in a few weeks time (the time it takes to get a shipment across to the States) at S://kimo, SafetyInNumbers and all good music stores. So as it's limited to 500 copies you'd better be quick to reserve a copy from you favourite store. Press Release: PLEASE DON'T TELL ME THAT'S YOUR VOLVO Artist: Tim Koch (Thug) Title: Please Don't Tell Me That's Your Volvo Label: Aural Industries Cat. No. AI002CD In essence a compilation of sonic off-cuts that didn't seem to fit anywhere else nicely. Aural Industries has taken the time to re-arrange them into a shape and form that we hope you will find most agreeable. Video game inspired songs about giving up mathematics, people with bad haircuts who don't answer their phones, bad sudafed trips, and American skateboarding shoes that fail to withstand the sheer force of Tim's ollies. Described by Groove Magazines' Pietro Da Sacco as containing "17 tracks of video-game styled electronica tied to bright melodies, gritty ambience, and snappy bleeps all wrapped up in a tight 60 minutes. Fans of Lackluster, Plod, Arovane and even Plaid will enjoy this release. But keep in mind that these sounds would best fit a Nintendo or Playstation soundtrack". Track-listing: 01.werdan 02.boybie socks 03.rzswing 04.sudafed x2 05.lull 06.my_document 07.tsunami bros. II (Barry Handler mix) 08.the generalist 09.meat lovers interlude 10.binoce 11.themaxa 12.obatem by night 13.forgive me for wanting to forget you 14.nightmare seam 15.hello pan air 16.i split my etnies 17.tsunami bros.
