i am very grateful that most of you have
refrained from posting war-related items
and political diatribes.
as per the list policies, posts of a political
nature are *not* allowed on this list.
here's why:
1) most of the people on this list are
capable of formulating their own opinions.
you are not going to convert anyone to your
way of thinking on this list.
2) *all* of these types of discussions
degenerate into name-calling, foul language,
and generally childish behavior. check the
archives if you don't believe me.
3) absolutely nothing will happen as a result
of people yelling on a mailing list. if
you believe in what you are saying, scrape your
ass off your desk chair and do something
worthwhile. i'm glad to see that some of you
are already doing that.
keep it off list.
