...is anyone else impressed with the soundtrack to the above movie? VERY nice cross between, well, soundtrack stuff and ambient. Sounds BoC-ish at points. jeff --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

yeah, i thought the movie was terrible, well lit and filmed but atrocious writing/directing/acting... wasn't carter burwell the composer for ohp score? you really can't go wrong with burwell, his being john malkovich score is a thing of utter beauty. what are the thoughts on willard? i just finished watching it, the score is fabulous, nearly everything about it is perfect except the pacing. but man o man, is crispin glover the one. Noone can come close to that guy in terms of sheer intrigue --- The REAL Mxyzptlk <therealmxyzptlk@comcast.net> wrote:

yeah, its totally silly but i kinda love License to drive. the coreys are two of my faves, really, you can't beat the lost boys! even though schumacher never actually made a film as well after that, maybe 8mm which was tripe but watchable. Actually the original, Hardcore, w/g.c.scott and paul schrader is pretty damn good, as is most of schrader's work. SOmetimes it seems a good idea to shield yourself from bad art, but it can be occasionally inspirational. Speaking of tripe has anyone here ever eaten the stuff? it looks horrible, and that scene from Buffalo 66 where billy maneuvers ricci's vegetarian character into eating a huge plate of it just completely smashes faces!! which reminds me of how good punch-drunk love is, and its back at the 1$ theatre!!! --- Mupetblast@aol.com wrote:
