Ha! I gotta work on dumbing myself down. That's frightening :) As to the census below, well, that's the kind of stuff I'd also download as MP3. Why? Cos none of it's very good, in my mind :) The last aphex record had some good piano bits, which would've caused me to pick it up eventually, and the Amon Tobin has some good moments, but it's not as good as his past offerings in my mind (more laid back and "samey" instead of really good). I've never liked massive attack, but I'm not going to bring up how bad most british rappers are again (as some people just don't understand :D ). I bought the singles box and was very sad, until I sold it for just a few dollars less than what I bought it for. Sometimes they'd get a good groove going, but then they'd open their mouths and... well I don't really like to talk about it ;) Granted, I'd download stuff and then delete it after discovering I don't like it (much like how I try to sell off records and CDs I buy that I don't like). So maybe it's just a different mentality. Perhaps a little off topic, but I've always wondered how labels and artists think about people who buy the album on a whim or off some suggestions and absolutely hate it, but don't get rid of it because used cd's really aren't worth anything (and aren't returnable, *anywhere*). Do they feel bad for the person for spending their money on something they don't like despite having no way of sampling it, or are they happy enough with the sale to not care? derek
