Hello,
Whilst in a record emporium recently, I got chatting to the guy behind
the counter about Murcof, whose 'Martes' album we were both bigging up. He
said that there was another artist fusing this type of modern
classical/electronic type of thing, and swore his name was Matrik (he even
spelled it for me). Google has given me little joy, besides an apparent
tech-house act called Maetrik, who, judging by the audio files I listened
to, certainly bears little comparison to any modern classical sounds, or
Murcof, for that matter.
Anyone able to suggestwhat he was gibbering on about? And no, it wasn't
Matrix, the drum and bass guy.
Cheers,
Papa D.
