Yeah, I've recently paid attention to the fact that the vast majority of my record collection consists of LPs. It's funny that I have pretty much overlooked EPs (and singles), considering that I think most of the LPs I own are too long for effortless listening from the beginning to the end. EP might actually be a really suitable format of music for me... So, what do you think are the finest EP's of the last, say, ten years? What about the finest EPs of 2002/2003? Obviously I'm looking mainly for IDM, but for example indie/post-rock, house, ambient, nu-jazz, noise, drum'n'bass, electro, trip hop etc. hits occassionally pretty hard. That's funny. Nearly all of the records I own are EP's, simply because they're cheap and easy to listen to. Anyway, some lesser-known EP's that I really like are both Vendor Refill EP's (evil weevil and the other new one, "sysreq ep"). Much better than his LP in my opinion.
