qtio = kuutio = finnish for 'cube' mdrmx (not mrdrmx) = remix of MD appelsap (consult www.m3rck.net merck003 release MD appelsap for the original release of)) natin = either "natina" (creaking/etc) or "nothing". brothomstates ixpen = remix of a track called 'ip xen'. by someone. kivesq = either "kivesku" or "kives-q" (kives=testicle) claro isnt "gibberish" neither is viimo (close enough to "viima"), or, even "viimonen" -> "viimoinen" -> "viimeinen". what really irks me is that some reviewers honestly claim that some of the tracknames are just random numbers.. exactly how is 25101999 a random number? ever heard of 25/10/1999? yep, r-e-a-l random. -- -- esa ruoho http://www.lackluster.org --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Information is structured data. People obviously aren't very good at structuring their data... Why should 'Qtuci' as a track title mean anything less than 'Forgiveness' ... After all both would be equally meaningless if you didn't understand english. What would be wrong if the words were abstract and made up anyway?. I think the argument should be the same as that of 'abstract' art... track naming is an art in it's own right. Attaching a real word or name to a track means that the listener may try to read more meaning into a piece of music that is there rather than just appreciate the music. My favourite track name is "" [excluding the quotes, obviously] _muff._ xo --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
