greetings friends - this is my sole online music community so i pose the question to you: I'm trying to learn Spanish and am part of the plan is to consume as much Spanish language media, including vocal music, as possible. I figure fans of IDM probably share taste with me and I'm super open to everything (pop, rap, rock, even fucking country) so hit me with suggestions of anything interesting. I definitely dig cumbia of all sorts but know little about it. reggaeton too. but yeah - really anything with someone on a mic, new or old, would be excellent. muchas gracias mis amigos musicales!

This is an interesting list to take on, and I hope to get at it when I'm not work. There's one name I loved: "Los Brujos" because in English that's "The Warlocks" which was actually the name for the group that later became The Grateful Dead. And because my Spanish is so poor, my inner tranlator's first translation of "Los Brujos" was "The Witch Guys" -- which would be a FANTASTIC band name. Glad people are enjoying the list. Here are a couple of bands forgot to add: (from Mexico) Cafe Tacuba - Re (album) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BSp951zEiGg (from Colombia) Aterciopelados - Bolero Falaz (couldn't find a complete album, but there are playlists) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sUlsTs2ljaE About Los brujos, isn't it "the sorcerers"? (never knew the difference, anyway) Saludos
