dumb question, but something I've never been able to figure out. Are the Nu Dub Players real people, or is it just a pseudonym for Friedman's schizo's self? aren't the Nu Dub Players whoever it is he's working with at the moment? i.e. theo altman on "fuck back". or, as it says in the PR: "around 15 musicians from auckland, sydney, melbourne, cologne and berlin..."

I always assumed it was just Burnt. In terms of flesh and blood collaborators it's mainly the guitarist Josef Suchy, apart of course from A. Heart and J. Liebezeit - though I think the latest Flanger is more populous - smoke and mirrors.
