I was just browsing thru the new releases of what is out this week, and I found a new Pieter K release listed. Pieter is IMHO one of the best US dnb producers out there. The fact that it is accompanied by a Digital & Spirit remix makes this single look like a must have! _______________________________________________________ PIETER K - Pendulum [Higher Education] - 1 mix+prod. by Pieter K, 1 Rmx by Phantom Audio. This new single is tough & fast but still retains the all important funk. His skill as a producer is evidenced by the serious sound manipulation happening throughout. Remix comes courtesy of Digital & Spirit, who take the original track and strips it down to its most minimal. For lovers of the Photek school. _______________________________________________________ ===== SWOPE TRANSMISSIONS - Listen on KUCI.org every FRIDAY Evening 6-9pm (Pacific) ~ Playlists / Links / Sound Files ~ http://home.earthlink.net/~efrans/swope-transmissions "Drum n bass, Downtempo, Techno, Electro and much more." __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? I saw a post a while back about a Pieter K album, does anyone have the specifics on that release. A friend played some of his music for me and I was very impressed with his work. Not at all what I was expecting, definitely some idm influence in his music --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? HotJobs - Search new jobs daily now

You are probably referring to my post about a month ago. The Pieter K "Everything All The Time" came out on Breakbeat Science on October 22nd. It's a really great release, and a nice mix of downtempo, techno and drum n bass. The dnb on the album is more for the listening than the dancefloor. I highly recommend giving the album a listen. You'll definitely be surprised if all you know is his older material. "Un Amour Fou" is kind of FSOL-ish "It Could Have Been You" is one of my favorites Everyone should check out some of the tunes, there's something for everyone on this release. http://www.breakbeatscience.com/pieterk/ ______________________________________________________ Here's an older Pieter K interview, in case you are curious. http://www.vinyl-net.com/interviewdisplay.asp?ID=125 And here's the URL for Pieter's Metaformal label http://www.metaformal.com --- B Peru <mybadelf@yahoo.com> wrote:
