What is meant by "importance"? Influential? Influential with regard to what? None of those artists has had as much TV exposure as John Tesh. I say John Tesh is responsible for everything Autechre or Aphex ever thought of recording. The answer is John Tesh. For everything. OK? What do I win? jeff --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

me again.. five most influential record labels 1 : Warp 2 : Platipus Records 3 : Junpin n Pumpin (the ones FSOL started with) 4 : Rephlex 5 : Bedrock there are more, like marine parade, additive, etc... I think (IMO) that most electronic music has reached the mainstream via dance labels, with styles such as techno, house, trance... IDM is merely the experimental edge to these genre's.... please don't bite my head off... I do own several warp albums and singles....
