So who would you guys say? here's mine in no particual order: lfo - influenced everyone........ first a.i. style techno? oval- for the introduction of the error or glitch aphex twin- for obvious reasons autechre- also for ovious reasons nine inch nails- for the texture, production, and bringing expermental electronic music to a mass audience through pop song structures, and most importantly to piss off every indie elitest fuck-head on the list (get it right ......majority of the synth patches were a prophet VS) thoughts? i can't sleep.... alan flood _________________________________________________________________ Join the world?s largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. http://www.hotmail.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

1) boc - music has the right to children (naturally) 2) autechre - incunabula (because of bike) 3) boc - geogaddi (a himn to... something) 4) squarepusher - go plastic! (fun fun fun!) 5) va - routine (naturally!)
quoted 6 lines wapep12's> > wapep12's > > 1.squarepusher-port rhombus > > 2.autechre-anti > > 3.aphex twin-on > > 4.max tundra-children at play/clive's folly > > 5.aphex twin-ventolin
1) boc - in a beautiful place out in the country (hell yeah) 2) squarepusher - port rhombus ep (tom showing the skills) 3) brothomstates - claro (naturally!) 4) aphex twin - on (the aphex is happy ep) 5) autechre - garbage (glitch) There it goes. Bombs away! And yeah, i do believe geogaddi is one of the best releases warp ever put out. Hey, what´s up with you? has no one of you ever heard lfo-frequencies ?? they might have been considered techno, but all the non- 4/4 tracks (approx half of them) on the album were 200%idm at a time when Warp was the No.1 techno (!) label and no one ever thought about labelling dance music as "intelligent". or how about b12 - does anyone remember them?
