"Intercourse" is the name given by Coil to a planned/proposed series of collaborative releases that they intended to start working on a few years back. Aside from Autechre, they intended to do releases with Labradford, Anal and other artists. But like many Coil projects, all of these are far from completion, and may never be released. Or they might just suddenly appear one day. You never know with those guys. y'all HAVE heard the Coh ep "Love Uncut", haven't you? it contains collaborations with both John Balance and Peter Christopherson. the track with John Balance, "health and deficiency: love's septic domain" is really interesting. hs -- _____________________________ fossil fuel for fossil people --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

I've never heard of a collaboration album (pity!). There's supposed to be a special box set of the first 3 Coil albums on vinyl with a free 12" with Autechre and Surgeon remixes, but it hasn't appeared yet. Maybe that's what you heard before? david boruff wrote:

Cool, would love to see this happen, although Coil are notorious for taking a loooong time on projects. The (alleged) reason why the Slag Boom Van Loon remix album was delayed for a few years was becasue of Coil. The collaboration would be worth the wait though. david boruff wrote:

'fallen angels entering pandemonium' is the highlight of that already excellent comp for me. I was never a fan of remix albums, but this one is definitely heads and shoulders above the rest. italic. -- _______________________________________________ Download the free Opera browser at http://www.opera.com/ Free OperaMail at http://www.operamail.com/ Powered by Outblaze --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
