I got their superb Parental Guidance album recently. But I don't know a thing about them - can anyone shed any light on their identities? Some of the tracks sound a little Bola-ish to me and sometimes a little Gescom-ish (some of the early stuff), so I was thinking that it may be part of that collective - although I'm probably wide off the mark.

I saw them live at the Dublin Skam night ages ago (February?). They're a guy and a girl who like to sing along to chopped up Prince tracks on stage. Bola and Gescom were also playing that night, and they weren't have as exciting as A+E (not to be confused with AE). They even brought out a guy dressed as a vigina for their track "Bionic Vagina" who got down and boogied with the crowd. (They had American accents too, and they're both short) As a record I think the album is pretty good, but not amazing. Their live act sure made up for it though. -skkatter __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Sign up for SBC Yahoo!
