Yo, Anyone heard the new Push Button Objects single? I have to admit that, nice though it was, '360 degrees' left me a little unfulfilled, but i heard that he's not interested in pursuing that 'sonic decimation/beats falling down the stairs' sort of a sound for which he was initially reknowned, and that the more conventional hip hop recipe of the last single is most definitely indicative of where he wants to go. So what's the word? Thanks in advance, Papa D. P.S. For anyone who cares, my lot (the marcia blaine school for girls) are playing live at Club 69 in Paisley on June 8th as a warm up for our little European sojourn. P.P.S. 'The Big Rewind' mixed by Nicky Blackmarket rocks like the proverbial motherfucker; if anyone is looking for one of the many old school jungle compilations currently on the market then I can highly recommend this one. I got it for a reasonably priced 10 English pounds, and it's obviously mixed live (but mixed well), kicking seven shades of shinola out of that nasty Shy FX one, which was nowhere near being old school, more like a greatest its of (often bad) DnB. That's definitely where he's heading with this new EP, it's really good but if you're looking for schematic-like crunchy hip hop then this isn't it. What it is is really good straight up Hip Hop. I like it and I'd buy it cuz I liked it not cuz at one point PBO made idm.
