He is in fact working on a second Geeez 'N' Gosh album. I'm not sure of the label, but it will be called _...Nobody Knows_. Release date is set sometime around March of this year. .`-). christopher miller o o.' evil@oasis.net == ' --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

This atomtm project is cool but there is still much room for improvemnet. Should be more soulful, but the slightly hoppin sound in his glitch is wicked. Atom heart is the most underrated and prolific artist in this game, and KID606 gets all the attention..by the way how much is the issue of FAQT with kid and other SFers going for on ebay? I destroyed mine by breaking a coke bottle all over it on a train in germany by accident..damn. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

I don't think Atom Heart is underrated. He's just not the giant media whore that kid 606 is (not that it's necessarily such a bad thing). What's this geeez n gosh all about though? I've been listening to the new Roger Tubesound album a bit and I think its one of the best jazz- meets-idm things ever. If only he'd come and play in the US. -Aaron ----- Original Message ----- From: Mupetblast@aol.com Date: Tuesday, May 7, 2002 2:10 am Subject: [idm] geeez n gosh

The concept was gospel house mashed up in his usual manner. Sounds are generally very crunched up and violently degraded. :) AtomTM does have a really good sense of groove, but it still just seems too sterile to me. I wish AtomTM would do more groove based stuff, actually. I really like some of that. eg. some of the Los Sampler's material (the concept there being that Los Sampler's are a Cuban sampler band - pity they're now part of the axis of evil >;) and also his remix of Montana Chromeboy's 'Bad Boy Pete'. The latter used to be on the net (ie. on a legit site) so see if you can track it down. It's only about 2 minutes long and is a highly condensed bit of cut up funk.

He's done it before, so don't be too surprised. Seems more likely than coming down here to Australia. :/ Michael - http://www.ampcast.com/jetjaguar http://www.involverecords.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

I don't know... he's played in Australia more times than in the U.S. Speaking of, does anyone know how many shows he's played there? I know of the following two: * Club Filter in Kinselas, Sydney on January 11, 1996 * Club Filter in Melbourne on January 12, 1996 Both were recorded for the _Live P@_/_Live@ Filter_ release. And I also recall a much earlier performance during 1994-95 or so. Didn't that "Don Weir" character from the Ambient list [way back] heckle and jump up on stage with Atom Heart, forcing the bouncers to throw him out? .`-). christopher miller o o.' evil@cirex.net == ' --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

He's coming to play in Montreal on the MUTEK festival, end of the year the south american tour as FLANGER (with Burnt Friedman and Jakie Liebzeit) and as Señor Coconut he will play at David Bowie's meltdown festival (july 26-28th) in London. at 08.05.2002 9:19 Uhr, Michael Upton wrote:
