ha! that was my favorite! besides telefon tel aviv anyway. the prefuse track was the best thing ive heard him do since the opener from his full length.

Why Hughes/Slicker decided to exaggerate that annoying way he holds the end of lines just baffles me.!? Still, I don't think it's that bad. My least fave mix would be El-P. I don't like his heavy distorted styles on this one. Fave mix goes to Jan Jelinek. Having discovered his enthusiasm for soul/rare groove stuff I was hoping he'd let that show through a bit more in his own music at some point. In terms of vibe I'm reminded of Autechre's Palmskin Productions remix.
