...and on an unrelated note...
65 degrees Fahrenheit, sun shining, birds chirp-chirp-chirping away, windows
down and rockin' my best impression of a "G" while cruising down the
boulevard. Take a deep breath of fresh Spring air. Check the volume guage
and decide to bump the bass up a notch...ahh fuck it, bump it up two. After
all, it's Friday. I ain't got a job (for the sake of this story at least),
I ain't got shit to do (again, I am just momentarily slacking off my duties)
- I'm gonna get high tonight!
A Tribe Called Quest's "Low End Theory" album bumps out of the speakers as I
approach a red light. A beautiful young vixen of a gal pulls up next to me
and I suddenly realize all is good in my world. For those few fleeting
moments I had not a care on my mind. No bills, no deadlines, no homeless on
the streets, no Middle East conflicts on my mind - it's all good.
What's the point you ask? Nada. None intended. Just wanted to share that
moment of clarity with you all. Enjoy the weekend and, as always, keep it
crunchy and keep it funky.
May the force be with you all.
Audi 5000,
J~
