They are more heavy on the 70s material than either 'Check One' or 'Synthesis', and as Ian O'Brien is involved, a little more... sweet sounding? I was going to say "cheesey", but not necessarily in a bad way. The modern tracks are definitely not at all techno - more like a house take on fusion. I don't actually own them, but a friend back home used to thrash them both.. so that's my impression having not heard them for maybe 5 months.
