Did anyone else see the George Michael new single video last night? Its proto-wankchops-IDM alright, modem noises and everything, Ok so it isn't quite funkstorung, and the singing is crappy, but IMO this is the start of... THE END! Soon everyone will love the sound of fax machines, modems and pocket calculators, people wearing kappa will be listening to bleep-rock and soul-glitch. Britney Spears will release her much awaited skam ltd 7" pink single featuring "mix me baby one more time" and "Oops, I did it agai-gai-ga-ga-g-g-ain". Everyone will have been listening to aphex "for years". Autchre will start a guerilla bombing campaign and blow up the NME office, aphex will make fuckloads of money. Boards of canada will not notice. Eeeep! georgewilliamson --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
