Gaster Del Sol make very nice use of the piano and it's silence. Also
there's a very nice Max Tundra solo piano work at the end of the "Kid606 and
friends" comp.
But the guy (?) you really need to check out is Terre Thamlitz. He's
released at least 2 albums of solo piano works, one reworking Kraftwerk
songs, the other Devo. His rearrangements are very inventive, and downright
beautiful!
And if you really want to go all out, you should do some searching on
"prepared" pianos and the fluxus movement. I know there are Nam June Paik
(et. al.) recordings out there somewhere...
