ok, with everyone throwing down their top 10 lists and all, i figured it's probably high time to try to do an idm year-end poll. we at grooves magazine are glad to handle the boring task of tabulating votes and such, so if you want to send your nominations to sean@groovesmag.com for the following: album of the year single/ep of the year compilation of the year artist of the year label of the year please only send 1-3 nominations for each category, so it's not too overwhelming. thanks, sean grooves magazine btw, new issue will hit stores in the next 1-2 weeks __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Nobody's twisting your arm, bro. Do whatever the hell you want... send in 300 nominations and annoy the shit out of the guy, send in no nominations at all, start your own poll. Nobody's gonna beat you up and steal your lunch money if you don't do as he says. But I'm not sure that it's really a matter for a public vote on the idm list how sean@groovesmag.com runs his rag, know what I mean? No hard feelings I hope, just my two bits. Just a thought... I looked at the domain, wondering where the F www.fer.hr might be... It' turns out to be in CROATIA. In the USA we take all our many freedoms for granted. Like, say for instance, the freedom to ask for all we want, no matter how excessive. Being on this international list I get a glimpse into what it's like to live in other places. I remember the daughter of a Russian scientist friend of mine announcing that she had received too much Halloween candy from her night's trick-or-treating. Imagine a kid having too much candy! It's a different world out there... Peace. L Lander wrote:

.hr=Hrvatski, a state in Croatia. Croats make the best pizza in the Mediterranean, the people are friendly, and the girls are bad as hell. We've been there twice and enjoyed it a lot.

It's not like these off-topic, meandering, dribbling posts only make it to your friends-on-line. NO NO NO, they go to 5000+ people who (I'll wager) couldn't care less about how much candy childXYZ received in countryABC. Nor do I give a tinker's damn WHAT is eaten for daily staple in Croatia, be it glass shards, mud, lazy-boy recliners or small puppies. I have a lot of patience, but THESE posts are just silly, and more pointedly are a waste of EVERYONE'S time. So could we at least try to stop it? I'm sure that many more people beside myself would greatly appreciate it.
