here's another every-few-releases idm-list announcement for the new stuff on
our net.label, Monotonik. the latest coupla pieces of freely downloadable
mp3 stuff-ola are as follows:
Ckid - "Where's My Parka? EP"
[really neat 2-tracker from German indie-idm type, formerly called
Crashkid, who has a 12" forthcoming on Becalmed Records and a
track on the neat-o Couchblip charity compilation alongside
Funkstorung and Yee-King, amongst others. It's sorta
acoustic-flecked mellow blippy goodness? Smart.]
Mosaik - "Rubik"
[another ex-demo-scener (see Lackluster, BrothomStates, etc, etc),
Mosaik is from Sweden and was known as Radix, wayback. He was
renowned for his chip-tune and intensely gorgeous melodic tune
action, and this track's really, really smooth, melody-filled
idm.]

..as per usual, and watch out for forthcoming stuff from Sense,
Idmonster, Vim!, and some other 'vaguely famous' people we can't
divulge right now (mainly cos, if we do, their CDRs won't turn
