They were being nazis at the door about bringing in recording equipment. I had to send my MD recorder back with my friend to his car (I was living out of a backpack, so there was nowhere I could really put it), so I don't know if anybody got any equipment in. I would be really into hearing some of those sets, since a few of them were really amazing... I can second the fact that they were being ruff at the door regarding ANY kind of digital device... we had to let them hold two minidisc's and a digital camera to get in. damn, it would have been great to record everyone there, except for aphex's irritating dj set from backstage!!! someone had to get someof the party! hook it up skyt atomly wrote:

And they did. But not of the first couple acts. Warp has said in numerous statements that the security people were basically being assholes, and, after the queue was making everyone late, they just let people in with minimal/no searching. There were a few people on the list who were distributing MP3's shortly after the party (as in a few days). The recording quality was pretty shite, though, due to the bad acoustics of the lighthouse.
