has anyone mentioned coil's hellraiser themes, yet? i know everyone brings
up coil, but the hellraiser themese are doozies. or what about lustmord's
_where the black stars hang_? good stuff.
my girlfriend and i are working on a spooky soundtrack for a book
signing in hollywood this saturday. we're playing live (me: keys and
knobs, her: cello and some knobs) and mixing in CDs run through f/x.
should be fun. it's for a book signing and art show. a friend of ours
illustrated a children's book (it's called monster museum) and he'll
be there signing along with brian froud (the fairy guy and also dark
crystal and labyrinth).
the music is going to be textural and dark ambient (spooky sfx and
spoken text run through delay and pitch shifters and treated synths)
to compliment mera's cello playing.
