just a quick note, thanks to all who cared about my well-being:)
I am just now getting to a computer, I live about 2 blocks from what was
the WTC and saw the whole thing happen in stupified disbelief from my
living room window. I had the misfortune of my windows being open when the
first tower collapsed, so my living room (and my gear) are now covered
with 1" of ash. Nothing a little 409 and soap won't clean:) I got the fuck
outta dodge after the second collapse, and am not allowed back until
further notice. If anyone cares to hear my story feel free to ask, it's a
crazy one.
I do not consider myself very patriotic at all, but, after having
witnessed this event, in a nutshell, don't fuck with New Yorkers. We will
respond when the time is appropriate. And I mean that half toungue in
cheek, half serious.
