well I couldn't believe it. I was on the way to work in midtown
manhattan when I heard so I went back home. I was lucky, might've
been stuck in NYC for a while if I went in earlier. I talked to
most of my friends who live and work in lower NYC and they're ok.
(Hooray for Email!) When I heard about the pentagon, I got scared,
because I thought it might be full on war. It's truly frightening
and creates much anxiety. I think everyone maybe cried a little
today. I see now on TV, people are leaving NYC via Brooklyn and
other bridges. New Yorkers are handling this pretty well,
considering. Our skyline and our lives have changed forever.
best wishes and thoughts to those in the thick of it.
