Has anyone heard the new R.E.M. album, "Reveal?" WIth the absence of their drummer, the band has worked a bit with Pro Tools and drum machines a bit and have created a soothingly mellow album that just seems to glow in warm yellows, oranges, and greens. I don't think they've done anything revolutionary or what-not with the synths, but they do merge their organic instruments with their programming quite nicely. If the local record shop'll let you give it a listen before you buy it, at least try it out... luke --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Would it kill people to delete irrelevant quoted text in their emails, rather than copying the entire thread in each message? Some 60% of all mailing list traffic is just requoted noise.
