Hello, Just wondering if those new Tigerbeat 7"s are worth shelling out for. Kinda pricey for 7"s, me thinks.... Worth the outlay? Me. --- Peace Hugs and Unity Jason J. Tar W. W. J. D? Yea. they are kinda pricey... fairy standard tigerbeat/glitch/plunder tracks. Fairly recent rip-offs too. My cohort, bella ordered three of them.... and was playing, I think it was the cex one, but I'm not sure... anyway. He was playing one in his lab in the basement when he went up stairs to get something from his bedroom, when low and behold, his little sister was listening to the exact same track (pre-fuct of course). wha? wha? this is a blatant rip-off of the original artist (IMO) I was wondering how tigerbeat6 could release such things... and not get sued. Maybe the original copyright owners don't know yet.... or maybe no one really cares. the biggest issue with these 7"ers is that the sleeves are dollar signs repeated over and over again, and one side of all of the actual records have a huge $ symbol. as for the the actual audio I'm sure that you could find the mp3 on the net soon enough. hell, if you can't, maybe we can work out a trade... the main thing about these releases is that if you own them, you own a part of history. How much of a part of history? only time will tell. But I bet if bella's great grand kids took these records to Antiques Road Show 3010, they might be roughly valued at: MONEY! hope you enjoyed my little shpeal. duncan P.S. When Bella's sister heard the 7" mentioned above, she said "You actually paid money for this?" --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Hey there. Would you mind mentioning *which* song was ripped off? Also, a little insight into what this 7" is and how much it costs? I feel left out of the discussion because I am no longer subscribed to any of the IDM shoppers lists (I was spending some $200/week at Skimo).
