who are worse than Arovane's Tides, and definitely not worth what little praise they've had. Although I do think Tides is OK... However, to turn this around from being a totally negative post, for "mellow IDM" I nominate 310, who have two albums out on leaf. "The Dirty Rope" is their best, completely mellow and beautiful all the way through, and their recent "After All" is a nice follow up, though not as exciting, which is pretty much what I predict the next BoC album to be in relation to "Music Has The Right To Children". Also, I would say Susumu Yokota does some nice mellow stuff, though it's generally closer to ambient and more sleep-provoking than I think the original asker of the question would be looking for. -Adam Patfitzrick PS - I laugh at you alllll!!!

I recommend tracks 4 and 13 off of the Freescha record. I wouldn't say this album is great, but it has moments of brilliance, such as those two tracks. A lot of the songs on the Kids Fill The Floor seem to just end suddenly at the 4 minute mark, which kinda annoys me. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? To the fellow who was going to make that mellow mix tape -- what turned out to be the final tracklisting? I might snag it for my own use. :) Lee "The last days of his sight he spent simply gazing at her." _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
