well, i settled down with good intentions as usual, but of course have
been
distracted. with my brother's visit last week it was quiet on the site
front, so i've been doing some catching up. but as indicated in last
week's
update we have a feature with the french label bip-hop which went up
this
week.
bip-hop are responsible for a series of electronica compilations - the
bip-hop generation - featuring artists like goem, ultra milkmaids,
marumari,
khon, arovane, pimmon and novel23. along with these compilations the
label
has started to release albums, so far these include tennis and the
spaceheads w/max eastley with several further releases due before the
end of
the year. we spoke to phillippe petit about the label.
as with the bip-hop feature last week, we've just recieved a feature
from
neutral too late to go online this week. so that will be added to the
site
with the next update.
still being carried out on the re:mote forum is an interview with
finnish
artist esa ruoho/lackluster - come and check it out.
