I had heard from several sources over the years that the double-vinyl
version of Depth Charges _Nine Deadly Venoms_ album featured different edits
of the same tracks from the cd release. In fact, on the J. Saul Kane page
at
http://www.saunalahti.fi/~phinnweb/jsk/ it claims:
"NOTE: album has full 12" versions, CD has edits"
I finally got ahold of the 2xLP and ripped all of the songs to my
harddrive so i could make the comparison myself. After a painstaking
side-by-side analysis of each song, I have determined that this info is
incorrect.
The cd features the exact same songs/versions/edits that are on the
double-lp. The track order is the same, the track times are the same, and
the versions of each of the songs are the same. No difference other than
the formats of the releases.
Just thought some of you might be interested in this.
