Hmm... I didn't think so many people would have their own views on this, but
I should explain a bit more about what I meant. 'Rap' is a very generic
word that most of you probably include many genres under. Including most
likely hip-hop, R&B, etc. I find these to be separate genres all together.
The music industry has been kind enough to give us 1,294 different genres
and rap has become smaller and smaller since. I personally love listening
to DJ Shadow, Amon Tobin and other Ninja Tune goods, but I would consider it
hip-hop and also very creative. It's not RAP.
Rap consists of (like I mentioned before) some black teens or
twenty-somethings spouting garbage while they treat every woman they see
like pieces of yesterdays rotten meat.
I'm too tired to go on, and I need breakfast, but I hope you understand what
I meant a bit more...
