i would say yes.... the first one is 2CDs (i got it for under $20 if i
recall correctly)... disc 1 is more accessible, tracks from panasonic,
vladislav delay, frank bretschneider (aka komet), snd, etc.... disc 2 is a
little more "out there" with less metered rhythm/beats: kid606, goem, etc...
i think it's really good. it was one of the first releases of its kind i
got. a lot of it is exclusive i think.
clicks+cuts 2 is 3CDs for just over $20, you can't really beat the price for
the quantity. if you like tech house stuff (4-4 bass beats, lots of clicks
and glitches and blips...and cuts) there is a lot on it. if you prefer the
more minimal, abstract stuff, then the 12k compilations might be more up
your alley. if you are into anything like snd, sutekh, andreas tilliander,
the forcetracks stuff, that is more what c&c2 is about. i like it quite a
lot although it didn't wow me in the same way that the first one did,
because i was already well-acquainted with the sound.
